Description:
A Parking brake actuator is a component that controls the application and release of the parking brake system. It is located near the rear brakes, as it is responsible for engaging and disengaging the parking brake on the rear wheels. It is controlled electronically through a switch or a button located on the vehicle's dashboard. When the driver activates the parking brake, either by pulling a switch or pressing a button, the actuator receives a signal to engage the parking brake.

• Provide immediate braking response when needed.

Applications:
A Parking brake actuator ensures the safe and secure immobilization of a vehicle when parked. It is extensively used in Cat 304.5 Excavators, 518, 528, 528B and 530B Skidders, 613C Wagon, 613C Wheel Tractor Scrapers, 936, 936E, 936F, 950, 950F, G936 and IT28B Wheel Loader, 950 Tree Harvester, TH28 and TR28 Powertrain.
