A Wear Plate is attached to the bottom segment of a bucket to provide an extra layer of protection to the bottom area. It absorbs and dissipates the wear and impact forces that the bucket faces during operation, thus protecting the larger and more expensive components of the bucket. It can be replaced when they get worn out, instead of having to replace the entire bucket.

Applications:
A Wear Plate is used on the bottom of a general-purpose bucket and rock bucket to protect the bucket from the harsh environment and wear and tear that comes with digging, loading, and unloading materials.
