Description:
The internal tab washer for the feeder shaft is a component designed to ensure the proper positioning and secure attachment of bearings on both sides of the washer. During the process, the internal tab washer is placed onto the feeder shaft between the two bearings. The bearings are then positioned on either side of the washer, with their inner races resting against the washer's outer diameter. Once the bearings and washer are in place, the washer's tabs are bent or folded inward, using a specialized tool or by applying sufficient force. This process causes the tabs to engage with the slots or keyways, effectively locking the bearings in position and preventing any rotational movement or axial displacement.
Attributes:
• Designed to work together as a system for maximum clamping force.
• Strength & Quality – meet or exceed ISO, ASTM, ASME & SAE requirements.
Applications:
The internal tab washer provides stability, prevents rotational movement, and enhances the overall reliability and longevity of the feeder system and it is used in Cat D7 Track-type Tractor, and AP400, AP455, AP500, AP555, AP-1050B, BG-260C, AP600, AP655, BG555E Asphalt Pavers.
