Description:
A Piston Ring is located between the top and second ring on the piston of an engine. It controls the oil flow around the piston and forms seals between the piston and cylinder walls and often made from high-strength materials and designed to endure pressure and temperature changes, and controls the oil flow around the piston.
Attributes:
• Phosphate coating surface treatment process is used on the piston ring to increase its lubricity and corrosion resistance.
• Provided with a Rockwell hardness scale value of 95-107 HRB to indicate its resistance to deformation.
Applications:
A Piston Ring acts as a seal between the piston and the cylinder wall, mostly used in Cat 12M, 140, 140M, 150, 160, and 160M Motor Grader, 1706, 1706D, 1706J, 3516C, C9, C9.3, and C9.3B Engine (Piston), 323D, 330, 330D, 336D, 340D, 345 and 725C 330D, 336, 336D, 336F, 340, 340D, 340F, 345, 349D, 350, 374F, 568 and MH3050 Excavators, 521, 522 and 586D Tree Harvester, 627, 627K, 637 and 637K Wheel Tractor Scrapers, 725 and 725C Articulated Truck, 966, 966M, 972, 972M and 980M Wheel Loader, 973 and 973K Track Loader, C9 and C9.3B Power Systems, C9.3 Engine-General Platform (C9), C9.3, DE350S, DE400, DE400S, XQ330 and XQP310 Generator Set, D6, D6T, D7 and D7E Track Type Tractor, MD5110, and MD6640 Drills, MH3250 Material Handler, PL72 Pipelayer, PM3, PM310, PM312, PM313, and RM400 Paving Equipment.
