Description:
A cylinder block liner sleeve also known as a cylinder sleeve, is a cylindrical component inserted into the engine block of an internal combustion engine. It forms the inner surface of the engine cylinder and provides a wear-resistant surface for the engine piston to move up and down within.
Attributes:
• Handle the thermal and mechanical stresses during operation.
• Designed to have internal cooling passages to improve heat transfer and reduce thermal stress.
• withstand the harsh operating conditions of the engine, including high temperatures, pressures, and corrosive gases.
Applications:
A cylinder block liner sleeve is used to provide a smooth, durable surface for the piston to move against, while also providing a seal to prevent compression and combustion gases from leaking into the crankcase. It is extensively used in Cat 160M Motor Grader, 3608, C175-16, C175-20, and C32 Engine (Piston), 785D, 789D, 793, 793D, 793F, 794, 795F, 796, 797, 797B, 797F and 798 Truck, C175-12, C175-16 and C175-20 Generator Set, D11T Track Type Tractor, PR43C Locomotive.
