Crankshafts such as part # 10R-2765 receive reciprocating motion from the pistons via connecting rods and convert it to rotary motion. Cat crankshafts are heat treated during initial production, using a patented hardening process for outstanding wear characteristics and high strength. We test every crankshaft for genuine Cat reliability.
