An Exhaust Pipe Piston is used to control the flow of exhaust gases. The piston has a series of grooves on its surface. The grooves are used to contain the exhaust gases. The piston is attached to a connecting rod, which in turn is attached to a linkage. When the exhaust gases are released from the engine, they enter the cylinder and push the piston down. The connecting rod then converts the linear motion of the piston into the rotary motion of the linkage. This causes the linkage to move, which opens and closes the valves that control the flow of exhaust gases out of the exhaust pipe.
