Description:
The Piston in a Bucket Cylinder, also known as a boom cylinder or arm cylinder, is a key component that facilitates the movement of the bucket or attachment. The piston is responsible for converting hydraulic pressure into linear motion within the cylinder. When hydraulic fluid is supplied to one side of the piston, it pushes against the piston surface, generating force and causing the piston to move within the cylinder.
Attributes:
• Designed to withstand high forces, and pressures, and resist wear and fatigue.
• Equipped with a sealing element to prevent fluid leakage.
• Precision-machined to ensure a precise fit within the cylinder bore and to maintain optimal sealing.
Application:
The Piston within the Bucket Cylinder converts hydraulic pressure into mechanical force to extend or retract the cylinder. This movement of the piston extends or retracts the piston rod, which in turn controls the movement of the bucket attachment and is mainly used in Cat 205, 205B, 206, 206B, 211, 211B, 212, 212B, 213, 214, 315C, 315D, 315F, 316E, 316F, 317, 318E, 318F, 320, 320B, 320C, 320D, 320E, 320F, 321D, 323, 323E, 323F, 325, M312, M313C, M313D, M314F, M315, M315C, M315D, M315F, M316, M316C, M316D, M316F, M317, M317F, M318, M318C, M318D, M318F, M319, M320, M320D, M320F, M322, M322C, M322D, M322F, M324D, MH3022, and MH3024 Excavators, 415, 415F, 416, 416F, 420, 420F, 422F, 427, 427F, 428, 428E, 428F, 430, 430F, 432, 432E, 432F, 442E and 442F Backhoe, 938, 938K and 938M Wheel Loader, M318D, M322D, MH3022, and MH3024 Material Handlers.
