Description:
A Piston Ring is a small circular metal ring that is located below the top piston ring and is responsible for regulating oil consumption. It is typically made from grey cast iron and slightly thicker than other rings with a stepped profile and prevents the oil from entering the combustion chamber.
Attributes:
• Nitriding surface treatment is used on the piston ring to increase wear resistance.
• Consistent with the engine's operational temperature range during the piston movement.
Applications:
A Piston Ring acts as a seal between piston and the cylinder wall, mostly used in Cat 3500, 3508, 3508B, 3508C, 3512, 3512B, 3512C, 3512C -, 3512E, 3516, 3516B, 3516C, 3516E, 3524, 3524B, G3508, 3508, G3512, 3512 and G3516, 3516 Engine (Piston), 3500, 3508, 3508B, 3508C, 3512, 3512B, 3512C, 3516, 3516B, 3516C, 3516E, 3520E, C9, G3508, G3512, G3516, G3516B, G3520, G3520B, G3524, G3532, PM3412, PM3508, PM3512, PM3516, PMG3516, PP3516, XQ2280, XQC1200 and XQC1600 Generator Set, 3512B, 3516B and 3516C Special Application - No Pin, 3512C Power Systems, 3516C Genset - 3516c Rental, 5130 and 789D 5130B, 5200, 5230, 5230B, 6060 and 6060X Excavators, 776D, 777B, 777C, 777D, 784C, 785, 785B, 785C, 785D, 785G, 789, 789B, 789C, 789D, 793, 793B, 793C, 793D, 793F, 797, 797B, MT4400 and MT4400D Truck, 854G Wheel Type Tractors, 992G, 994D, 994F, 994G, 994H, 994K and 995 Wheel Loader, D11N and D11R Track Type Tractor, MD6380, MD6540 and MD6540C Drills, PR20B Locomotive, SPF343C and SPF743 Pumper, Cement Trucks, TH55 and TR53 Powertrain.
