The Piston Guide Ring is precisely fitted inside the hydraulic cylinder wall, creating a tight clearance between the piston and the cylinder wall. During operation, the hydraulic fluid pressurizes the cylinder, causing the piston to move back and forth within the cylinder. As the piston slides along the cylinder wall, the wear ring acts as a barrier between the metal surfaces, preventing direct metal-to-metal contact.
