Description:
The oil cooler core, specifically for transmission oil, is a vital component of the machine's cooling system. It consists of a network of small, parallel tubes or channels. These tubes are arranged in a compact, flat, or finned design to maximize the surface area available for heat dissipation. Transmission fluid is directed into the oil cooler core through the inlet connection. It then flows through the small tubes or channels, while ambient air passes over the cooling fins. The heat from the transmission fluid transfers to the fins, allowing heat dissipation into the surrounding air. The cooled transmission fluid then exits the oil cooler core through the outlet connection.
Attributes:
• Maintains optimum operating temperature.
• Core is housed within a protective casing or framework.
• Ensures consistent lubrication and viscosity.
Applications:
The oil cooler core dissipates heat generated during operation and ensures that the transmission operates smoothly and reliably it is extensively used in Cat 589X Pipelayer, 834, 988, and 988K Wheel Loader, 834K Wheel Type Tractor, 836 and 836K Compactor, D8L, D9, D9N, D9R, and D9T Track Type Tractor.
