The Diesel Exhaust Fluid(DEF) Tank is a container used in machines equipped with Selective Catalytic Reduction (SCR) units to reduce harmful emissions from diesel engines. The size of a DEF tank varies depending on the vehicle's fuel efficiency, exhaust emissions, and expected operational range. DEF consumption is lower than diesel fuel consumption, so DEF tanks are generally smaller. DEF is a fluid mixture of urea and deionized water that is injected into the exhaust stream to convert harmful nitrogen oxide (NOx) emissions into harmless nitrogen and water vapor. The assembly consists of parts like Plug, Hose Adapter, and Seal-O-Ring.

Attributes:
• Makes it convenient to inject DEF into the exhaust stream before it reaches the SCR catalyst
• Designed to prevent cross-contamination between DEF and other fluids
• Prevents the DEF fluid from freezing in cold temperatures

Applications:
The Diesel Exhaust Fluid Tank is used to store and supply DEF to the SCR system of a diesel engine. DEF is injected into the exhaust gases, where it reacts with NOx emissions and converts them into nitrogen and water through a chemical process.
