Description:
The Valve push rod connects the camshaft, located in the engine block, to the rocker arms or lifters, which are responsible for actuating the engine valves. It transfers the rotational motion of the camshaft lobes to the vertical movement required to open and close the valves. When the camshaft rotates, the lobes on its surface come into contact with the push rod, causing it to move up and down. This movement is then transferred to the rocker arms or lifters, which are positioned above the engine valves.
