Description:
The brake control valve consists of a series of pistons and valves that are designed to modulate the pressure and flow of brake fluid to ensure safe and effective braking. When the driver applies the brake pedal, the force is transmitted to the master cylinder, which then sends pressurized brake fluid through the brake lines to the brake control valve. It modulates the pressure and flow of the brake fluid to the wheel cylinders which in turn apply the brake pads to the rotors generating the necessary friction to slow or stop the vehicle.
Attributes:
• Withstand high pressure and resist corrosion.
• Compatible with the type of brake fluid used in the vehicle
• Operates by sensing the pressure and flow of brake fluid in the system.
Applications:
The brake control valve is used to control the flow of brake fluid between the master cylinder and the brake calipers. It is extensively used in Cat 621H, 623, 623H, 623K, 627, 627H and 627K Wheel Tractor Scrapers, 789D 793D, 793F, 795F, 797, 797B and 797F Truck, TH55 Powertrain.
