An Oil Cooler Fan Shroud is used to direct airflow over the oil cooler, to keep the engine oil at a safe operating temperature. The shroud is made of durable material and is attached to the front of the oil cooler. It helps to ensure that the fan can draw the maximum amount of air over the oil cooler, even at low engine speeds.
