Description:
A Solenoid Operated Modulating Cartridge Valve consists of a housing, a solenoid, and a cartridge. The housing contains the inlet and outlet ports. The solenoid is used to actuate the valve, while the cartridge helps the flow of fluid through the valve. The cartridge contains a small orifice that can be adjusted to control the flow rate of fluid through the valve. This allows the valve to modulate the flow of fluid in response to changing system conditions, such as changes in pressure or temperature.
Attributes:
• Withstands a pressure of 31000 kPa
• Allows a maximum flow rate of 35 L/min when there is a pressure drop of 220 kPa across the valve
• Operates at a maximum ambient temperature of 150°C when the input is at full scale
Applications:
A Solenoid Operated Modulating Cartridge Valve is to control the flow of air from the Turbocharger to the Inlet Manifold, this is widely used in Cat 1706J, 3516C, C-9, C9, C7, C7, 3126E, C9 and C9.3B Engine (Piston), 323D, 330, 330D, 336D, 340D and 345 OEM Applications, 330D, 336, 336D, 340, 340D, 345 and M322D Excavators, 521 and 522 Tree Harvester, 725 Articulated Truck, 966 Wheel Loader, C9.3 Engine-General Platform (C9), MD5110 Drills, RM400 Paving Equipment, TL943C Telehandler - Tier Iv Interim.
