The Illuminated Rocker Switch is a type of electrical switch that features a simple rocking mechanism to either connect or disconnect an electrical circuit. It is a specific control element designed to activate the wiper washer system for the left side door window of the operator cab. When the rocker switch is pushed or toggled to the washer position (often by pushing it further or in a different direction), it activates the windshield washer pump. This pump sprays washer fluid onto the left side door window to help dissolve and remove stubborn dirt and grime that the wiper alone may not be able to clear.
