A 2-position rotary control switch is a device that allows for the selection between two different positions or functions by rotating a knob or lever. The 2-position rotary control switch consists of a central axis or shaft with a knob or lever attached to it. The knob or lever can be rotated in either a clockwise or counterclockwise direction to switch between the two positions. The switch mechanism inside the housing is designed to make electrical or mechanical connections based on the selected position.
