Part # 1T-1051 provides a converter impeller for the 8-1400, 400 MS Torque Converter.
Engine power is multiplied in the torque converter and then transferred to the transmission for use by the rest of the drive train components. The convertor impeller is one of the components in the torque convertor that creates pressure to move fluid, resulting in the required torque convertor performance.
