A Bucket Cutting Edge Wear Plate is used to protect the bucket cutting edge from the abrasive and high-stress conditions it encounters during operation. It is attached to the cutting-edge segment of the bucket and is made of a hard, abrasion-resistant material to withstand the loads and stresses that are encountered in the assembly. To avoid replacing the bucket's cutting-edge, more expensive sections, the wear plate can be replaced when they wear out.
Attributes:
• Provided with a 6mm thick high-hardness chromium carbide weld overlay to withstand high level of shear force without deformation
• Withstands high vibrations and shock loads generated during operation
• Hardened with Brinell hardness indentation depth of 2.6mm to withstand surface damage caused by external forces
Applications:
A Bucket Cutting Edge Wear Plate is used on top of the cutting edge of the bucket to protect the cutting edge from wear and tear which is the primary contact point with the ground or material being excavated.
