A Stud Seal is a type of mechanical seal designed to prevent fuel leakage at the connection points. The stud is threaded into one of the components, usually a flange or a fitting, while the sealing component is placed between the mating surfaces of the two components. When the stud is tightened, it compresses the sealing element, creating a secure and leak-resistant connection.
